"Setup was fine, but that account part was a little weird"
Getting it set up was easy overall. The account stuff took a bit of guessing though, especially when it got to that one section where it wasn’t super clear what I was supposed to do next

"Blurry fax, not worth it"
I tried MetroFax my snap judgment is that I wouldn’t use it again. The document looked totally fine on my end, but the version that came through was blurry and hard to read. A few pages even looked faded. I ended up having to send it another way, so for me it was basically useless.

"Support felt like talking to a robot"
I reached out to MetroFax support about a billing issue, and it was a headache. The replies were slow, and when they finally did respond, it felt like I was getting copy-and-paste answers from a robot answering emails instead of a real person actually reading what I wrote. I had to explain the same issue more than once, and nothing really got fixed. Frustrating for something that should’ve been simple.

"Billing felt like the goalposts kept moving"
I wish the billing had been more upfront. A few fees showed up later than I expected, and it kind of felt like the goalposts kept moving every time I thought I knew what I was paying for. Not a huge disaster, but definitely frustrating.

"Good value for a small office"
For the price, this does exactly what I need it to do. I’m using it in a small office, so I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just something that works without a hassle. So far, it’s been fine and feels like a fair deal.

"Reliable for regular use"
I use metrofax a few times a week to send documents, and for the most part it’s been smooth. Most of my faxes go through without me having to babysit the process, which is really all I’m looking for.
I do like getting the confirmations after sending because it gives me peace of mind that the fax actually made it. I’ve had maybe one or two delays here and there, but compared to what I’ve heard from other people using similar services, it hasn’t been a big issue.

It’s not flawless, and I do wish it moved a little faster sometimes, but overall it’s been more dependable than a few other fax services I’ve tried. I’d give it 4 stars because it gets the job done and feels solid for everyday use.

"Canceling was kind of a hassle"
It’s hard to describe exactly why, but the whole cancellation process just felt way more annoying than it needed to be. I had to contact support just to cancel, which was frustrating.

"App keeps wearing me down"
I’m kind of tired of dealing with this app at this point. Every time I try to use it, it crashes on me, and I end up having to start over or just give up. It’s frustrating because I just want to get in, do what I need to do, and move on.

"MetroFax is simple to use overall..."
MetroFax is simple to use overall, but it kind of works when it wants to. I was able to figure out the basics without too much trouble, though finding certain settings took me longer than it should have.
